PLEASE READ!

All singers in the 2025 Fall session of the Coal Creek Community Chorus are invited to perform with Face Vocal Band on two songs ("Wassail! Wassail!" and "I Hear the Bells") for up to three of Face's holiday concerts this season. To participate, singers must commit to:

​

• Learn the music on their own during late October/November with provided sheet music and audio practice tracks.

​

• Make every effort to stay after our regular rehearsal on attend rehearsals on both November 3 and November 10 at Legacy Church for about 10 minutes each time. You are highly encouraged to attend both of these additional rehearsals, but you MUST attend at least one to participate in either of these opportunities

​

• Purchase tickets to the show in which you will be performing. Use the provided discount code on either ticket sites to trigger a 15% discount for you and your family/party (but please keep this site and discount within the choir).

​

• Attend the soundcheck the evenings of the concert, likely in the early 5:00 PM hour (details below)

​

• Please note that each performance opportunity will need a choir of at least 35 singers somewhat balanced across all voice parts before a participating choir is confirmed. I will communicate with all singers once each show is locked in.

​

• Please ONLY SIGN UP and reserve a slot if you are 100% committed to following through with this experience (assuming you are healthy and there are no major life changes between now and then). Dropping out on short notice is not an option.

- On 12/17, singer arrival time to the venue for soundcheck is 5:15 PM. You will receive a red wrist band giving you venue access as a performer, and await further instruction in a designated seated area.

- Meet at the BACKSTAGE DOOR down the ally off of Spruce between 14th St and 15th Street. You will be sent to a seating area and then given more instructions on logistics for that evening's performance regarding where to go and when.

- No guests or children will be allowed to soundcheck -- performers only

​

- Soundcheck/run-through will end at or before 6:00 PM

​

- After the soundcheck you will leave the theater and then enter again with your ticket with the audience.

​

- Your performance attire is to wear mostly black with an optional red accessory (tie, scarf, belt/sash, hair accessory, etc.)​​

​

- You will join the singers either in the lobby or backstage at intermission (TBD), and perform the songs at the beginning of the second set. Specific instructions will be shared on site.
